Tim Hart has extensive experience in multi-disciplinary practice including nine years with his first company before establishing Pyments in 1990. As Chief Executive of the Pyments business, Tim brings immeasurable experience to the consultancy services and dispute resolution sector.
Tim is a full and practicing member of the Academy of Experts and a Law Society "Checked" Expert Witness.
A lifelong sportsman who loves all sport, (but in particular football, cricket and horse racing), Tim firmly believes that, despite the seriousness of the role, a sense of humour is vital in managing the stresses and strains of modern business.
Gordon brings local and international experience and cross sector exposure to his role as Managing Director of the Pyments business. His strong senior management background benefits client requirements by getting to the root of issues quickly and decisively.
Gordon’s experience extends across both standard and bespoke construction and engineering contracts and he is proficient in supporting client needs on a wide range of matters, including; advising on procurement strategies, contract negotiation, dispute resolution and prevention, and acting as party advocate in adjudication.
Gordon enjoys the great outdoors and will often be found hiking around his favourite locations in the UK and overseas.
Alan’s wide-ranging expertise enables him to provide liability, quantum and delay analysis across a variety of commercial and contractual matters, including acting as principal advocate in adjudication and mediation.
Alan also supports Pyments professional training programme, both in the delivery of client training workshops, and in the drafting of training material for Pyments NEC, JCT and Extension of Time workshops, delivered across the UK.
Alan enjoys football and also supports his local cricket club where, not so long ago, you could still find him pulling on his whites.
Jess has an established reputation with Pyments Clients for her professional acumen, knowledge and demeanour. Jess provides consultancy services and advice principally in relation to commercial matters, dispute resolution and dispute management.
Jess brings a wealth of commercial and contractual experience to her role, predominantly in construction and civil engineering, including acting as party advocate in adjudication, as well as providing hands-on support and advice in the preparation and settlement of final accounts, claim particulars, and liability and quantum analysis.
Whilst staying outside of the ring herself, through her husband’s Boxing/MMA promotions company, Jess helps plan and organise regional events.
Accredited by the Academy of Experts, Stuart is best known for his role as expert witness in matters of delay analysis, where he provides advice and opinion to a diverse range of client organisations, including in adjudication where he provides expert opinion evidence.
As a chartered quantity surveyor, his related work in preparing claim particulars, liability and quantum analysis, further supports and enhances his expert witness role and improves the depth of service he provides to Pyments’ clients.
When he’s not steeped in the detail of expert analysis, Stuart enjoys his quiet time competing in local fishing tournaments.
Chris has extensive commercial and contractual experience having been employed in senior roles, predominantly for main contractors, for more than 30 years. During this period Chris has gained comprehensive practical experience of what he refers to as the ‘muck and bullets’ issues routinely encountered in the construction and civil engineering industries.
Equally as comfortable on his mountain bike as he is acting as party advocate in adjudication proceedings, he combines expertise in contractual matters with an approachable and affable demeanour which enables Chris to support clients with practical advice on matters of contractual entitlement, dispute prevention and dispute resolution.
Allan’s passion and knowledge of all things dispute prevention and dispute resolution provide an excellent platform to support client needs in his role as Consultant with the Pyments team.
Allan provides specialist advice and support across a wide range of complex commercial and contractual matters, including in the preparation of claim particulars, liability and quantum analysis, and in developing and implementing strategies to deliver successful outcomes.
Outside of work Allan enjoys working out at the gym, boxing, and competitive e-sports.
Jitka has over 15 years’ experience in supporting a diverse range of client needs. Specialising in the M&E building services sector for many years, Jitka has extensive experience in pharmaceutical, laboratory and R&D facilities, as well as in other cross-sector construction projects UK-wide.
Jitka provides hands-on support and advice on a variety of commercial and contractual matters through all stages of project delivery. Jitka’s role often sees her become a valued part of clients’ project delivery teams, where her attention to detail is matched only by her sharp wit!
Andy has a construction management background with wide-ranging experience in both private & commercial development. Andy’s experience is brought to the fore where he assists clients in successfully achieving or recovering construction programme delivery, often in complex projects where multiple competing events are impacting progress.
Andy expertise has supported the development and implementation of the industry unique service that is Pyments Project Monitoring (PPM).
Andy is affectionately known as the “Stig” (for his prowess in all things motorsport & karting) and when he’s not making music in his home studio, you’ll find him travelling far and wide with his film-maker son.
Anhar is a conscientious, diligent, and proactive professional with extensive experience in Construction Planning and Programming Management across DIO, Education, Commercial, Healthcare, and Leisure sectors, working with Main Contractors in both Construction and Pre-Construction phases.
Anhar possesses extensive knowledge of UK Construction Main Contracts, with expertise in managing delays through programming software and detailed reporting.
Anhar is engaged in Delay Analysis and Dispute Resolution within the Construction Industry, specializing in programme trends, data management, and applying the SCL Protocol across various analyses, including time impact, as-built, and acceleration assessments.
Anhar enjoys quality time with his nieces and nephews and stays active by playing football twice a week and swimming in the mornings when not with family.
Laura has day to day responsibility for the accounts department including sales and purchase ledger, payroll, invoicing, credit control and a raft of other office administration activities.
Not one to shy away from a challenge, Laura has run the Race for Life for Cancer Research and
competed in the Sole Destroyer race; a 10k run over obstacles, freezing water and mud!
