Pyments initially acted as a consultant for the Employer providing contractual and programming advice in respect of a live project which was the subject of delay and multiple Main Contractor programme revisions. The instruction varied from Programme Verification reports to a detailed review of the contractual entitlement to EOT.

Ultimately Pyments were jointly instructed to produce an independent Expert Report which set out both the contractual position on Change entitlement and provided recommendations in respect of the appropriate programme delay analysis assessment.

The parties successful negotiated an agreed cost and time entitlement of previously disputed Change. Pyments drafted a joint statement agreement which the parties accepted and which conclusively settled the matter, and allowed the parties to collaborate on successfully delivering the Project.
