Instructed by solicitors represented the Employer, to act as an expert witness (CPR Part35) relating to delays and an assessment of the Main Contractors additional time entitlement incurred under a NEC Option A Contract.

Compensation Event time assessments were made in strict accordance with Clause 63.3 and the appropriate Accepted Programme. The Delay Expert Report provided the Employer with an independent assessment of the revised Completion Date and ensured commercial settlement discussions were appropriate and reasoned. To date, the possibility of multiple adjudications has been avoided and the parties have agreed upon a mediation strategy to resolve the commercial dispute.
